TAN YUAN CHUN is also known by the artist name Disk0Kidz. Chun lives in Tainan which is an ancient metropolis with long history and culture. Chun was influenced by pro-skating, hip-hop music, indie-rock, and electronic music. Since then, he starts to play cassettes and vinyl gapless skill, learned his solid djing skill. He also learned about music culture and trending from countless electronic music websites.
Later on, he starts to study music-recording, music-composing and relevant knowledge. In 2008, he builds up a local music promoting label « Ultra Dance Society », and actively invites well-known emerging musicians, bands, DJ coming to Taiwan for performances. At the same time, he is attached to discover talented local artist to introduce them to foreign artists and DJs to exchange their music concept.
In 2010, he starts the new alias Disk0Kidz, with a new music style including Nu Jazz, Italo, Funk, Nu Disco, French House, UK Bass, electro, techno music etc. In 2013, he is signed to Cliché Records, a Hong-Kong based French label. He became the first Asian musician on Cliché Records. Taipei The Wall, LUXY, Room18, AGEHA, 18TC and music promotion agency Dance Rock Taipei, Kitsune Club Night all have a delightful experience collaborating with Disk0Kidz. His performances are expanding into Denmark, Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai etc. Over his whole career, he has collaborated with international major DJ artist, including A-Trak, DJ Falcon, Para One, Darius, Don Rimini, LA Riots , Citizens!, Jupiter, Breakbot and Irfane etc.
