Munbir Chawla graduated with a degree in music technology in 2006 and went on to work as a sound engineer and tour manager with leading international artists throughout the UK as well as working on comedy and theatre based events in London. In 2007 he began showcasing music through a club-night named THEM. THEM quickly became iconic in the underground electronic music scene, debuting renowned international artists, hosting album launches and setting musical trends within the underground movement. The success of these nights led to him being scouted by the iconic East London venue Rhythm Factory to lead the programming and rebrand the entire identity. He also launched Vital, an artists booking agency, which looked after internationally renown artists such as Onyx, Salva and Lorn.
 

Munbir Chawla moved to India in 2011 and is the co-founder and director of Wild City, an online music magazine and events company based in New Delhi. He's also the regional partner of Border Movement, a music magazine and platform for cross-border collaborations and residencies in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other countries in South Asia. On top of this he manages and represents artists through a booking agency Vital Agency and hosted the "1st edition of an annual music festival: Magnetic Fields in 2013. Munbir Chawla is also a regional Red Bull Music Academy ambassador and most recently; co-founder of music PR specialist City Press.
