Catherine Dufour is a computer engineer, and columnist for the Monde Diplomatique newspaper. In 2001, she published a comic fantasy book entitled Snow White and the Rocket Launchers, followed by three new tomes of her Quand les Dieux Buvaient series. She then published a succession of science-fiction books, notably including Le Goût de l’Immortalité, which won the Imaginaire Prize in 2007. She made her publishing debut for Fayard in 2012 with her work L'histoire de France pour ceux qui n'aiment pas ça, and her latest book, 2014’s La vie sexuelle de Lorenzaccio, was her eleventh in total. She is a member of the Zanzibar Collective, alongside Alain Damasio, David Calvo, Norbert Merjagnan, among others.
